About us
Built by people who ran the shop first
GsmWhale started as an internal panel for a repair and unlocking business. Everything in it exists because we needed it, and nothing in it exists to fill a feature list.
Why it exists
Repair shops and unlocking services run on an awkward pile of tools: a supplier API here, a spreadsheet there, a payment link pasted into a chat window. Orders arrive at midnight and nobody is awake to place them. Stock quietly runs out and the first person to find out is an angry customer.
GsmWhale is the answer we built for ourselves — a single panel where the catalogue, the suppliers, the payment rails and the delivery automation all agree with each other. When we started letting other shops use it, the roadmap stopped being our wish list and became theirs.
That is still how it works. Every add-on on this site began as a request from a customer who was losing time or money to a gap we had not closed yet.
How we build
Your server, your data
GsmWhale installs on infrastructure you control. We do not sit between you and your own orders, and a backup you cannot reach is not a backup.
Automate the boring failure
Most support tickets are the same three problems. A missed cron run should retry, then alert — not wait for a human to notice on Tuesday.
Refund before you are asked
If a service genuinely cannot be delivered, the wallet gets the money back automatically. An argument you never have is worth more than a ticket you resolve quickly.
Say what it does
No "revolutionary", no "seamless". If a feature has a caveat, the caveat is on the page next to it — you are buying a tool, not a slogan.
Who it is for
Independent repair shops, unlocking and GSM service businesses, and the resellers and distributors who supply them. If you sell a service that a supplier fulfils, or a product you ship yourself, the same panel covers both.
We are not the right fit if you want a marketplace with everything pre-connected and nothing to configure — GsmWhale assumes you know your suppliers and want to plug them in yourself.
